Kayaking & Stand-Up Paddle
A Different Way to Experience the Water
Not every ocean experience needs waves. Kayaking and stand-up paddle offer a calmer, more immersive way to connect with the water. Whether you’re paddling through still stretches or gently navigating the coastline, these sessions are designed to be relaxed, accessible, and enjoyable at your own pace.
Perfect for beginners and casual explorers, it’s less about skill and more about the experience.
Slow Down & Take It In
A quieter side of Varkala exists just beyond the cliff — in the backwaters and mangrove channels around Kappil and Paravur. Kayaking and stand-up paddle sessions take you through still waters, narrow mangrove tunnels, and open lake stretches where the pace slows down and the experience becomes more about the surroundings than the activity itself.
Most sessions are conducted a short drive from the cliff, in calm inland waters where even first-timers can paddle comfortably.
