Before your first paddle

Surf questions worth asking.

Should I book one lesson or a surf camp?

One lesson is a good introduction. A camp gives more time to practise and adapt around conditions, without promising a particular milestone. Tell the team your goal and how many days you have.

What if I am nervous in the water?

Say so before booking. Water confidence and swimming ability matter when choosing a suitable session. The team can discuss your starting point and whether the current conditions are appropriate.

Are accommodation and meals part of the lesson price?

Not automatically. Standalone sessions and stay-based programmes are different arrangements. Check the written inclusions for your booking.

What should I bring?

Bring comfortable swimwear, sun protection, drinking water and a towel. The team confirms the equipment provided and any additional requirements for your session.
